Waterproofing Systems

Waterproofing Systems

Building waterproofing solutions selected and applied according to substrate, exposure, movement, drainage, and water-pressure conditions.

Description

Pandora provides waterproofing support for roofs, terraces, balconies, podiums, wet areas, planters, tanks, and below-grade surfaces within approved project conditions.

Depending on the application, waterproofing systems may include liquid-applied PU or acrylic materials, flexible cementitious membranes, torch-applied sheet systems, or self-adhesive sheet systems.

System selection considers substrate type, exposure, movement, expected water pressure, drainage arrangements, and required protective or finished surfaces. Existing leakage paths are investigated where accessible so that treatment can address likely causes rather than only visible symptoms.

Particular attention is given to upstands, corners, joints, drains, and penetrations. Substrates are prepared before priming, while cracks, voids, weak areas, changes of plane, and movement-prone areas receive appropriate treatment within the approved scope.

During application, primer coverage, membrane continuity, overlaps, and required thickness are progressively controlled. Flood or integrity testing is carried out where practical and specified before protective layers conceal the membrane.

Key Benefits

  • System selection based on substrate and exposure conditions
  • Attention to leakage paths and vulnerable interfaces
  • Detailed treatment of corners, joints, drains, and penetrations
  • Progressive control of membrane continuity and thickness
  • Flood or integrity testing where practical and specified
